Working vacations in Florida for firing

5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... the space shuttle leaves the launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center. The tone of the holiday is on! Two minutes of kick-ass video! Doooonc say oooh!

On the roads of Florida, punctuated by good old tunes of Rock & Roll, the surging French Embassy Girl is always c. propagates. The idea is to create a treasure. Delphine is a hunter and fruit Agathe adventurer, the challenge was easy. The balance sheet: grapefruit, dragon fruit, coconut, key lime, English moss, coral, shells, bells and Christmas energy drinks. Florida has many faces. At first sight, it is tourism with beautiful beaches to relax, surf or even better but watch out for sharks sin (Agathe has failed to pay the price). Florida is also the nature with its fauna and flora. The Everglades is a perfect illustration of what the country looked like before all this urbanization. It is an ecosystem original where crocodiles and alligators coexist. Amusement parks near unleashed anacondas who become predators again. When an alligator crossing an anaconda you do not know which one will win is a story of muscles, one will be dinner on the other. The food chain is thus completely broken. Florida is also the Keys, islands paradise connected by a single road, the number 1. In Key West, there is an atmosphere of tranquility mixed with mysterious Cuban pirates. An inspiring place for Ernest Hemingway. A haven of peace for President Truman spent vacation time in the "little white house". It gives necessarily want a "little French embassy" is not it? Florida is also magnificent sunsets with incredible color palettes. Each evening, the race began and the best spot we were never disappointed. Florida is also a Foodland, a producer of fruits and vegetables, farmed land with cattle and horses. The first flower decorations ... especially in the beautiful city of St. Augustine marking the holiday spirit with the celebration of lights that illuminate the historical buildings dating from 1565 (arrival of the first English settlers).

Oral Lichen Planus More Condition_symptoms

Youngstown ...

Before leaving Youngstown, I had to try the shot because this is a major activity such as golf or football on TV.

Here is a quick summary of answers to many questions to Daniel and Missy (Vallourec colleagues).
1. Each state has its own legislation for weapons
2. There is no need for a permit to buy a gun in hand you need a permit to carry !
3. To obtain a permit you must live in the state, complete a safety course and be 21 years
4. The age limit is 21 years for selling guns (handgun) but drops to 18 for other firearms!
5. The weapons are allowed in public places unless otherwise stated (eg banks)
6. The weapon must be hidden

The main reason Daniel and Missy to bring a weapon to protect themselves alone facing a danger to which they would not have time to call the police. They never had to leave.

We started shoot a gun (the model used by the police) and then with a small telescope size. At 50 m, we get a very good shooting accuracy (of the order of cm inexperienced!). I was not too comfortable on the subject but I actually found it very entertaining and I spent some time . It's a lot of concentration and confidence.

The lesson I draw is that all is well as holders of weapons remain under the control of their actions. It's the American spirit that emerges in the idea of freedom and individual responsibility. We must not tell an American that carrying a weapon is dangerous because he knows it and is sufficiently endowed with common sense to be master of a situation where he would have to use it ...

UV NY01 successful!

directed study sessions in the city of New York

time is mixed, yet a glance a hurricane, he called Kyle this one. But that's not stopping us ... So we leave to the discovery of Staten Island, large island south of Manhattan, commuter dormitory, or Fort Wadsworth protected the city. Back at Pier 16 is one embarks on a speedboat to visit NY and its exposure of waterfalls on scaffolding. We can not resist the appeal of Sunday Mass in Harlem that is very original and rhythm. Finally, we pass the final examinations for the passage of a UV NY01 Columbia University.

following results:
Constance admitted with distinction - loss of concentration on the end
Kevin allowed - seems more at ease in central park as green space
Yoel: allowed (free auditor) - specialty geocaching
Sylvain: realigned - Sylvain had the opportunity to spend the UV catching September but did not even present.
All candidates are invited to register for the session NY02 next, deeper parts of the city including the Village.

Arrhythmias More Condition_symptoms

California: the Sunshine State

The blog is not dead for those who believe that we not put more updates! (Is not it Maximus?) The last weeks have been a bit softer because of the hurricanes that prevents us to continue our U.S. tour in 2008. (Gustav, Hanna and Ike). The notion of a storm or when a heat wave in France is to redefine here as the forces are increased tenfold. I took the opportunity to jump from plane while Candice was crossing the United States to Cincinnati Atlanta for a road trip between atypical and Redneck Country Music . It should also end the museums in Washington that Candice could validate his City Guide!

We then spent a week in the American West alongside the parents: the final stage of the U.S. tour. Visit California San Francisco to Las Vegas through Napa Valley, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park, Death Valley and the Mojave preserve. How to summarize briefly: the breathtaking scenery as usual here, excessive canyons, wilderness hundreds of kilometers, exotic vegetation and finally the ideal temperature for the holidays! Pleasant surprise

north of San Francisco where we discovered the vineyards of the Napa Valley. Wine tasting version with red carpet interpreter was excellent (he thought we were investors). We finally said they can do some good wine in this region even if their plugs are plastic.

A sequoia is the size of trees that impressed us (average age of these giants over 2000 years). The largest of them, General Sherman is 30m in circumference. Fires still raged but the trees are strong and will burn than just bark.

Yosemite, the mecca of climbing and base jumping (it should not normally say) is indescribable. The valley lies between the cliffs over 1600m. We have found time to hike around the granite rocks to the top of Half Dome. The adrenaline flowing through his veins via ferrata on the final ascent of the rock so characteristic of California, I would have jumped and deployed a parachute. Anyway, Candice was waiting just down the rock (Quarter Dome for her!).

Passing the highest road pass in the Sierra Nevada at 3000m, we reached the town of Bodi e. This is generally not a step too fast but for tourists in this ghost town is interesting for its past. True boomtown of the gold rush, feel the pioneer spirit. What was the motivation of these adventurers embarking on an adventure in places as remote and uninviting. Can we know yet what kind of adventure in our time?

Parents being in search of thrills (not kidding), so we left on the dirt tracks of the valley of death for a test of robustness of 4 * 4. Equipped with dozens of liters of water but without GPS, in the end the 4 * 4 U.S. has been broken and the 4 * 4 Japanese is still racing. Despite a crash in the desert at sunset, we found a primary nature and untouched. Solitude shared with family is nice in the northern part of the park (3 cars found in the day). The southern part of the park is more tourist Sand Dunes at Stove Pipe Wells dry lake Badwater salt.

We then took the direction of Las Vegas through the Mojave preserve and Hoover Dam . This is a dam built in the 30s. It is the symbol of the American New Deal after the 1929 crash ... The alert is the state of Lake Mead is 35 feet below its normal level ... so what: consumerism, climate change? In any case, there are too few comments on the subject. Rather, it is the greatness of the men who built the giant concrete.

In short, we loved this trip we thirsty even more of these great spaces.

Lewy Body Disease More Condition_symptoms

the American West through the Great Salt Lake, Grand Teton & Yellowstone NP

the American West, we do it tirelessly ... we accompany Ludo, Delphine and Nicolas for a week of adventures in the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
Our journey begins in Utah on the largest island (Antelope Island) Salt Lake near Salt Lake City. The landscape is lunar! The lake water contains up to 25% salt, bison and antelope basking on the hills. We elect our camp among the most beautiful views in the morning (the first place back to the view of Mount McKinley in Alaska).

Welcome in Idaho! "Famous potatoes" is the slogan of the plates of cars. Foodland, farmers have adopted a system of irrigation rather surprising that this form of arms and pivots on itself. This gives a view of the sky a colorful variety of fields round. Apart from eating potatoes, Idaho tourism suffers from competition of these neighboring states ... but anyway, we find Twin Falls (Niagara Falls Western ") and Craters of the Moon, fields of black lava has lost sight of that bear witness to ancient volcanic activity. The last eruption dates back to 2000 years. This volcanic rift goes back up in Wyoming in Yellowstone Park.

Grand Teton is the garden of Eden before arriving at Yellowstone, Paradise. Grand Teton?! what a funny name! Thank you to our trapping (beaver) french at the time who have given names to the region full of realism: Gros Ventre and Nez Perce, for example.

Yellowstone french yellow stone ... we would rather say the Multicoloured Stone. Magical colors: turquoise, orange, yellow, green. Waking up geysers, bubbling water and jets of steaming, molten magma is just 3 km beneath our feet. The earth rumbles under Earth's crust, but the result was splendid and the surface is AMAZING !

We also crosses many animals during our hikes: chip munk (a small squirrel tic and tac), marmot, dragonflies, birds, deer, deer, deer, caribou, coyote, and bear . We missed the buffalo. But it does not matter, we prefer to eat steak.

Back in Salt Lake City, we finish our perelinage earthen Mormon. Discovery of the Temple and the Tabernacle or 70 weddings a day are celebrated (in summer). 80% of the population of Utah is Mormon. Members of the Mormon community are deemed to maintain a database on births, marriages, and deaths of individuals, allowing them to trace the genealogy of families.

B & Q are returned to their respective countered while Ludo, Delphine and Nicolas continue their trip to Bryce, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Death Valley and San Francisco.

wish them happy holidays!

Kennedy Space Center Skydiving

In places to visit before we left (it is approaching), Cape Canaveral was a must.

We arrived in Orlando, Florida on Friday night to a crowd of American tourists and foreign bound for Disney World. (The return of Sunday night was pretty fun with people at the record with T-shirt and Mickey ears .... unfortunately I did not take a picture). Anyway ...

to 80 terminals in the west of Orlando is the famous Cape Canaveral launch pad for U.S. space shuttles as well as most rockets to the orbiting satellite. It is also here that the Saturn rockets are parties to the conquest of the Moon.
The museum is fantastic. There are many simulators that can physically live rocket launches as if you were there. We also tested the centrifuge training of astronauts is ... Attraction (not the real calculator of course) who sent us a maximum of 4g, enough to turn the eye.

The second part is a tour bus shooting sites and central testing elements of the International Space Station. The bus takes us to mid facilities full of history and future ... The exploration of Mars has already begun.

On Sunday, we planned to go kayaking in a State Park but unfortunately closed due to overcrowding. So we improvised naps blistering heat in Florida ... a Sunday relaxing as it should from time to time.

Liz, Alex and Jack Johnson

Small getaway in Wisconsin in Milwaukee where we joined Liz and Alex. The big event of the weekend was the concert of Jack (Johnson) in the middle pasture.
His appearance was very noticeable tatane Hawaiian!
We had our little culture shock on arriving at the festival without barbecue and drink. The Americans call it the tail gating ... ie spend the afternoon at the back of pick-up with hot dogs and beer in hand ... So it's a ritual before every game of baseball, football and concert! Biz

Is Eating More A Sign Of Pregnancy

ALASKA 2008 ... VI round of

Alaska, 49th U.S. state in the union back in 1959 ... means "great land" in Inuit! An area three times larger than France that we traveled all the roads with a little over 2000 miles on the odometer.

From Anchorage to Homer, Homer to Seward, Seward to Whithier of Whithier St Ellias, St. Ellias Fairbanks, Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle, the Arctic Circle to the park Denali and Denali to Anchorage the loop was complete! And the feeling of not being able to find any ... because Alaska is also visited by air (flying boats and other small gear) to go in the Bush, by sea (cruise in fjords) and also by rail ... Tain Tain Tain dwarf ... rail has been developed in the nineteenth th century to transport adventurers in search of gold ... Tain Tain Tain dwarf ... And Sylvain will tell you oh how trains are wearing their beautiful blue and yellow and equipped with sunroof to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Alaska.

With its glaciers that calve icebergs, volcanoes sculpt the lunar valleys, mountains that continue to rise towards the sky, Alaska, the landscape in perpetual becoming, is the opposite of a land . The Mount McKinley rises to 6194 meters : the highest peak in the United States and North America. Alaska is a major earthquake zone and has many active volcanoes.

0.4 inhabitants per km ², it does not meet many people! So we could test our limits by plunging Into the Wild with a 3-day trek in Denali Park. Meetings with striking a bunch of animals (bear to the whale through the orca and moose).

A grandiose territory where nature dominates man's face ... the man who still managed to mark his territory by erecting zigzag pipeline to minimize earthquake damage and height to allow the passage of animals. The main line of the pipeline runs from north to south about 1,300 miles from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez.
