Ski Trip Weekend at DC Museum

We took a bit of a delay in updating the blog ... so here's the summary of 2 denier weekend of February.

Candice wanted to ski so she did not too hard to convince me! We went to Seven Springs, a resort in Pennsylvania 2-hour drive from Youngstown and 3h Washington. ( qlques photos)
The resort was amazing with some good spots to take some speed bumps and a few parks, jumps and rails ... This is not the Alps but it was already nice to ski on artificial snow that only the Americans know so well ...
Good weather, beautiful runs very good day spent with 3 people from the embassy, the "Sophie", Fwainçois, and Aude my college LIFE Vallourec.
The story also says that Candice has learned to change a car wheel ... It can be useful ...

After a week cold and snowy and I'm then left Friday night to join Candice Washington for a weekend spent visiting museums and the preparation of the trip to Alaska in May

We visited the museum include an archive of the original three most important documents of the United States: the Declaration of Independence July 4, 1776, the constitution consists of the 10 founding papers and the declaration of rights .
Among the first 10 amendments to the constitution ratified in 1788 include freedom of press, speech and religion. Since the text has evolved and is composed of 27 amendments which abolished slavery (# 13 in 1865), the prohibition of alcohol (# 18 in 1919), the abolition of the prohibition of alcohol (# 21 in 1933).
I confess to never having read the French constitution, but the reading of the U.S. is quite simple and understandable. For fans (or Sciences Po DC wandering on this blog) Click here. In
photos you will see ... the Watergate Hotel, the Kennedy Center (their operations) and new glasses Candice ;-)

Preparation of Alaska is almost finalized. All reservations are made or almost ... we need to polish up the final details, buy some equipment and also to prepare physically ....

Voili voilou ... Biz to all U.S.
